Here’s all you need to know about new boy Scott..

ITV has confirmed that the newest bombshell to enter the Love Island villa will be Shelbourne’s Scott van-der-Sluis.

The League of Ireland goalkeeper has left his contract in the hopes of finding love on the reality show.

Some reports say ITV have been trying to secure Scott for previous seasons but finally managed to pull him this time round.

On tonight’s show, Scott will meet one of the girls for a candlelit date but will sparks fly? Ah we’ll have to wait and see.

Ahead of his big arrival, here’s everything you need to know about the footballer.

Scott is 22-years-old and from a small town in Wales called Connah’s Quay

He was raised by his Dutch mother and his brother, Jamie Reed is also well-known in the world of football.

However, we’ve adopted Scott for the time being as he’s currently living in Dublin while playing soccer for Shelbourne FC. The goalkeeper requested to take time off playing football to enter the Love Island villa.

His club team released a statement today confirming that Scott won’t be playing for the team for a few weeks.

They hilariously wrote: “Shelbourne Football Club can confirm that Scott van der Sluis has left the club.

“The goalkeeper requested and was granted a release from his contract so he can take a break from his professional football career to participate in the ITV television show Love Island.

Damien Duff, Head Coach, Shelbourne FC said: “I was shocked and saddened that Scott chose a villa in Mallorca full of beautiful, single women over myself, the staff and the players.'”

Gas.

We wish him luck..

Scott has been single for over three years now which he blames football on.

He said: “Football is all I’ve ever done, all I’ve ever known. So this is a new and exciting opportunity for a change-up in life.”

Scott’s dream date would accompany him to the Champions League final “with full hospitality” so hopefully one of the girls in the villa is a soccer fan.

He also revealed his biggest ick, and said: “Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts.”

On tonight’s Love Island, the islanders play the ‘She’s a Keeper’ challenge and the winning girl will head for a date with Scott so needless to say, we will be glued to the TV.
