Love Island’s Casey and Rosie have called it quits

Kat O'Connor

Love Island’s Casey and Rosie have broken up.

Their break up comes just two weeks after the reality stars were dumped from the Love Island villa.

Casey confirmed the news on his Instagram this afternoon.

He said the pair will remain friends.

He wrote, “Rosie and I have spoken… she’s a great girl. Life outside the villa is just very different.”

He continued, “We will remain friends moving forward.”

A source recently told Mail Online that things were rocky from the moment the pair left the villa.

Apparently, Casey and Rosie just didn’t click on the outside.

“It was clear from the moment they left the villa that Casey and Rosie weren’t going to last.”

The source said the pair didn’t make any effort to spend time together. They also didn’t plan any dates or bother getting to “truly know each other”.

“It was better to quit while they were ahead.”

Their split comes after an awkward appearance on the Love Island reunion.

The couple’s split likely won’t come as a surprise to many, especially after their awkward appearance on Love Island: The Reunion.

Many viewers pointed out that there was a lot of tension between Rosie and Casey during the show.

When host Maya Jama asked them how things were, Rosie told Casey to answer.

He then said, “It’s all a bit overwhelming when you come back. We’ve got a date on Tuesday, so just looking forward to that.”
