Belle posted images of her bruised face and explained that she’d be taking time away from social media to process the incident.
Belle Hassan, who appeared on the reality series Love Island, has told her social media followers that she was hit in the face on a night out.
Taking to Instagram, the 26-year-old shared a photo of her bruised face and explained that she had been injured in a “Love Island related attack”.
In the post, Belle explained that it’s “so sad” that she will “never be able to live” her life without “being hit in the face for no reason”.
She went on to say that she is “sick of having to stand up” for herself.

Belle wrote: “This is my reality and I’m sick of trying to stay strong and this is what I deal with week in and week out.”
The former reality star said that she “hides” from social media and is now planning on taking on a break from it altogether.
She wrote: “Right now I’m done. Tonight has really made me realise a lot. I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to explain myself.
“When I’m ready I will be back and I will explain, but for right now I’m taking time out I hope you all can understand that and support me in this time.

“I love you all and thank you everyone who has always supported me on this crazy journey. But for right now I need time to process things.”
In a later post, Belle explained that there is CCTV footage of the incident which is being sent to her.
She added: “This is the last I will say on the matter.”
Belle appeared on the fifth season of Love Island in 2019, where she coupled up with Anton Danyluk. She was “dumped” from the island on Day 56.
