“I watched it back and I felt so sad for me.”

Danica Taylor has spoken about her time in the Love Island villa, and has shared that at one point she wanted to leave.

The dancer referenced the game of Snog, Marry, Pie, in which Billy Brown – who she was coupled up with – ignored her.

In an interview with OK! Magazine, Danica said she felt “disrespected”.

She told the publication: “I feel like my most difficult moment was probably after the Billy situation.

“I remained really strong throughout the whole time in there. Don’t get me wrong, there were a couple of tears behind-the-scenes, but I was a composed woman; I held it together and didn’t want anyone to see that they’d got me down.”

She added that she felt disrespected during Snog, Marry, Pie, but also when she learned that Billy told the other boys about their more intimate moments in bed.

“I felt very disrespected as a woman,” she said.

Danica went on to explain that the rejection eventually “got on top” of her, and made her feel very upset.

“That’s when you saw that I’m a human and I do have emotions. I just broke down really and that was hard. I watched it back and I felt so sad for me.”

She admitted that while she is confident, there is only so much she could have taken. However, Danica shared that shortly after, she had a change of attitude and things got better when Jamie Allen joined the cast.

“I dusted myself off, got back in the game and Jamie walked in and saved the day.

Danica and Jamie finished in sixth place behind Paige Thorne and Adam Collard, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page, Dami Hope and Indiyah Pollack, Gemma Owen and Luca Bish and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti.
