The 24-year-old referred to himself as a “lone wolf.”
Jake Cornish has revealed he is no longer in contact with any of the Love Island girls since his dramatic departure from the villa.
Speaking to hosts Bobby Norris and Brooke Odun on FUMAR radio, Jake said:
“I don’t speak to any of the girls. I think I’m a lone wolf on that side. They’re there and I’ve just gone this way. Everyone’s in a group chat but the group chat is no longer.”
While the girls may have ghosted him, Jake says he still talks to some of the boys.
“I speak to Brad, Liam, Danny, Tyler… Aaron Francis. I’ll speak to them here and there if they message me on Instagram, but really on WhatsApp where you’re gonna speak to them is a handful of the lads. There’s probably six of the lads.”
Jake chose to leave the villa just days before the final, after a shock split from his girlfriend Liberty Poole.
The relationship crumbled after after a movie challenge where a clip of Jake expressing doubts about his sexual attraction to Liberty was aired. He was also shown encouraging the rest of the boys to cheat on their partners in Casa Amor.
But now, the former water engineer revealed that he is ready to date again.
“To me, it’s something that I want to happen naturally, so if I’m out and I meet a girl. I’m not going to go out of my way to look for it.
“But yeah, I’m open to find a girl. As I say, I’ve only ever been into blondes. I’ve never really dated a brunette, so who knows.”
