And so, more information is coming to light.
On Tuesday night, Sam Bird announced his split from girlfriend and Love Island co-star, Georgia Steel.
Previously admitting that he was too upset to reveal the reason behind the split, he is now taking to Instagram to set the story straight.
I’m devastated to announce me and Georgia have split up for reasons I cant bring myself to comment on at the moment. As always I wish her all the best ?

After allegations that Georgia cheated on Sam with their tour manager and PA, Stevie Lux, came to light, Georgia called the rumours “laughable” in an interview with OK! Magazine, however, it appears this denial hasn’t cleared up her “I’m loyal babe” image as Sam took to Insta Stories last night to weigh in.
“Claims that Georgia has cheated on me with our tour manager and friend, Stevie Lux is not true. It involves her ex”, he wrote.
Georgia hasn’t yet commented on Sam’s latest announcement however, we expect she’ll say something soon to cover her loyal rep.
They split came as a shock to many as the pair had recently moved in together – and were all smiles as they walked the hot pink carpet at ITV Palooza on Monday night.

Sam and Georgia are the fifth Love Island couple to split this year.
Charlie Brake announced via Instagram Stories last month that he had split from Ellie Brown; while Laura Crane and Jack Fowler also recently announced their split; Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have gone their separate ways; and Samira Mighty and Frankie Foster’s have made the decision to call time on their relationship.
