The police have just confirmed the news.

Just weeks after Sophie Gradon was found dead, her boyfriend Aaron Armstrong has died by suicide.

The news was confirmed this evening by local police, according to The Sun. A spokesman confirmed they were called to a property in Blyth, Northumbria at lunchtime today and found a body.

They said: “At around 12.20pm today we received a report that a 25-year-old man had been found deceased at a property in Blyth.

“There is not believed to be any third party involvement and a report will now be prepared for the coroner.”

Sophie appeared on Love Island 2016, where she was part of the ITV2 series’ first same sex couple as she partnered with Katie Salmon.

She was also coupled up with Tom Powell throughout the series, and then began a relationship with Aaron after she left the reality show.

A spokesperson told the media:

“At about 8.27pm yesterday (June 20) police attended a property in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found deceased.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding her death. A report will now be prepared for the coroner.”
