Made In Chelsea’s Alex Mytton reveals his mum has died of brain cancer

“I owe you infinitely for shaping me to be the man I am today.”

Made In Chelsea’s Alex Mytton announced the passing of his mum on Instagram today.

“After fighting, what now seems like a brief battle with brain cancer my mum finally succumbed to the disease,” the 27-year-old wrote.

Continuing, the reality star praised him mum for being such a vibrant and guiding force in his life, writing;

“I owe you infinitely for shaping me to be the man I am today. I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that life was going to be a struggle without you, and despite thinking I was mentally prepared for the inevitable when the inevitable actually came it hit me harder than I could have ever imagined.”

Alex shared a black and white image of his mother to his feed, with a similar resemblance to her son, Alex continued:

“I just want to say thank you so much for being an amazing mother to me, for showing me total compassion and love, and although there is still a lot I wanted you to get to see I will never forget the memories we made.”

Alex is currently starring in the 17th season of Made In Chelsea which started back two weeks ago. Not playing as predominant a role as previous, Alex is now dating model Gorgina Howard away from the camera.
