Kensington Palace sources have described Melissa as “hugely talented”.
They told the Daily Mail: “Melissa is a hugely talented person."
“She played a pivotal role in the success of the Royal Wedding and will be missed by everyone in the Royal Household.”
According to The Express, one of the sources described Melissa's exit as: “A real shock, why would she want to leave such a prestigious job so soon?”
Another commented: “To lose one member of the household could happen to anyone."
“To lose three in a few months is starting to look like a stampede.”
Edward Lane left his post, having worked for Prince Harry for fifteen years.
