They broke up in December and it seems that model Irina Shayk does not have the best memories of her time with Cristiano Ronaldo.
The model and footballer dated for five years and in a recent interview with Spain’s Hola magazine, Shayk alluded to an unhealthy relationship that made her feel insecure.
“I thought I had once found the ideal man but it didn’t turn out that way. I think a woman feels ugly when she’s got the wrong man at her side. I’ve felt ugly and insecure,” she said.
The Russian star went on to describe her ideal date as involving champagne and “lots of food” but added that the main consideration was that her partner knew how to treat her properly.
“My ideal man is faithful, honest and a gentleman who knows how to treat women. I don’t believe in men who make us feel unhappy, because they’re boys not men.”
