Naomi Campbell has ended things with Liam Payne for a pretty mean reason

Sad for him.

It has been reported that Naomi Campbell has ended her four month romance with Liam Payne. Apparently, the relationship began to "fizzle out" but the pair plan to remain close friends.

A source revealed:

"Liam and Naomi had a lot of fun together, they got on well and had a laugh. But it just wasn't meant to be."

"They are going to stay friends – there are no hard feelings with either of them." Well that's good news. However, a differing source said that Naomi Campbell is bored of Liam, and that's why the romance has ended.

"Naomi has taken the decision to let things fizzle out. She's just not into Liam any more and has cast him aside. Quite simply she got a bit bored."

"He was always the more keen, slightly needy one and, as far as she was concerned, they were never officially an item anyway. It's always been very casual."

Earlier this year we reported on the unlikely matching when Naomi commented on the Strip That Down singer's mirror selfie writing: "Beautiful soul". Liam, who's known for keeping his personal life very private, also commented on one of the supermodel's images from Paris Fashion Week saying: "Perfection in a person... Don't give me those eyes." Naomi also recently spoke about her personal life on the Jonathon Ross Show, when quizzed about Liam. Naomi Campbell shut it all down, saying:

"I never discuss my personal life. I mean, it's crazy it's like one day it's one person, the next day it's another. Who is tomorrow? That's what I want to know… For me I laugh."
