Christian Slater is hoping it’ll be second time lucky as he has revealed that he is getting married to his long-term girlfriend Brittany Lopez.

The actor, who has been down the aisle once before, revealed the news during an interview on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

 

The Hollywood star is getting hitched for the second time.

He also told the story of how he met his other half back in 2009: “I went down to Miami a couple years ago, stayed at this little resort called Little Palm Island… and this girl came walking along with another lady, a slightly older lady.

“I was sitting in my usual spot, eating my oatmeal that morning… and next thing I know she gets down on one knee and proposes to this older lady.

“I thought I had just witnessed a nice lesbian engagement, so I was coming over to say congratulations, but it turns out it was her aunt and she was just trying to help her aunt capture the beauty and the romance of the moment.”

Christian starred with Kevin Costner in Robin Hood: Prince of Theives.

And as they say the rest is history. “She was making a joke, and I witnessed it and it intrigued me, and the next thing I know we were hanging out in the Everglades,” the Hollywood heartthrob explained.

Christian, who is currently working alongside Shia LaBeouf on controversial flick Nymphomaniac, also has two children from his first marriage.
