Nick Cannon confirms he is having two more babies this year

Recently, rumours began to circulate online that the US TV host had “three babies on the way” in 2022. Speaking on Lip Service podcast, he addressed whether there was any truth to the speculation.

“When you say ‘on the way… ‘, What count are you at?” he joked, before adding: “Let’s just put it this way, well yeah, the stork is on the way.”

Addressing whether it was exactly three kids he’d be having this year, he said: “I don’t know, it could be… If you thought it was a lot of kids last year…”

Nick is already father to twins Moroccan and Monroe, 11, Golden, 5, Powerful, 1, twins Zion and Zillion, 11 months, and his late son Zen.

Zen, who he shared with model Alyssa Scott, sadly passed away from brain cancer in December 2021.

Following the news he was expecting his eighth child later this year with model Bre Tiesi, Nick revealed his therapist had told him to try celibacy. On the podcast, he also addressed why this didn’t work out.

“That was like October … I didn’t even make it to January. I was supposed to make it to the top of the year. Then obviously I started going through some stuff … I got depressed with the loss of my son.”

Nick went on to say that he began to use sex as a coping mechanism.

“I fell victim to it ’cause I was in a weak state. So December, especially right before Christmas… So I broke the celibacy. But I was probably celibate for a month and a half strong… I was trying to do it. I had a new show, new energy, I was dealing with a lot.”
