Nicki Minaj told angry fans to “Eat Sh*t and Die” after she was forced to cancel her Dublin gig due to illness.

The Pound the Alarm singer is having problems with her vocal chords and the cancellation of the concert caused many of her fans to express their disappointment on Twitter.

Nicki's concert was due to take place in the Olympia Theatre tonight

The star took to her Twitter to explain herself to her 14 million followers.

“I am so thankful to my true fans who understand WHY I couldn’t play #VFestival and WHY I can't play Dublin. Absolutely gutted.

“However, if you have anything negative to say to me please #EatSh*tandDie.

“I was in jeopardy of losing my voice.

“All you do is rip people apart and when they’re dead and gone you won’t lose a wink of sleep #goF*ckYourselves.

“My beloved United Kingdom, you know how much I f*cking love you! Ireland, I truly appreciate you. Barbz, thank you for the well wishes,” she said.

Irish ticket holders have been advised to contact point of purchase for a refund.
