Nicole Scherzinger Pushes Cowell For Bigger Money… As Boyfriend Hamilton Pleads With Her Not To Return To X Factor

Formula One star Lewis Hamilton has asked his girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger to ditch The X Factor so they can spend more time together, it's been claimed.

The handsome racing champion has expressed his worry about being apart for another three months if Nicole returns to the reality TV talent show this autumn.

X Factor bosses are pushing for Nicole to join the show again, her act James Arthur won last year's final and it was widely believed it was Scherzinger's sense of fun that kept the show's ratings steady.

Lewis will be thousands of miles away with his racing team Mercedes AMG as he tours around Singapore, Korea, Japan, India, Abu Dhabi, the US and Brazil this year.

Nicole and Lewis spend time together by the track. 

The 28-year-old said he is very supportive of ex-Pussycat Doll Nicole’s successful career but worries he will miss her too much.

"Lewis has said to Nicole this is going to be an awful situation and perhaps she shouldn’t do it," a source told the Sunday People.

"If he thought she had her heart set on returning he wouldn’t say this, but he knows she isn’t desperate to go back and thinks she would be happier if they were together.

"Nicole is also worried she won’t see much of Lewis so it is a big factor that will deeply affect her decision."

The stunning singer has requested Simon for more money. 

Nicole has her business head screwed on tight. Last month she told media mogul Simon Cowell that she would only return if they doubled her £750,000 deal.

Metro.co.uk report that an insider told the Daily Star paper, "Nicole has Simon over a barrel. He’s made it clear that his dream judging panel is Nicole, Sharon Osbourne, Louis Walsh and Gary Barlow.

"Nicole feels she is in a great negotiating position because she was by far the most popular judge last year and Simon should be rewarding her for that.

"There’s a massive stand-off over her signing the contract, she wants Simon to pay her the extra million, putting her on £1.7 million. He really doesn’t have a choice if he wants her to return to the show."
