One More Reason Rebel Wilson Is The Best (Hilarious) Role Model

If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Rebel Wilson is a role model in her own right. From her stints in Pitch Perfect, her comedy one-liners any time she presents an award, to some of her more memorable stunts, the woman is all about enjoying herself and being proud of who she is. So when the actress-comedian turned up at the MTV Movie Awards dressed as a Victoria’s Secret Angel, we knew there was more to the statement then her pretty epic costume change. Joining her Pitch Perfect ladies on stage, Rebel strutted her stuff in leather leggings, a jewelled bra and the Victoria’s Angels wings, using the stage as a catwalk. Completing her stint on stage, Rebel then pretended to drop her cue cards - bending over to reaveal 'THINK' writing across her bum. Speaking to Cosmopolitan about her unusual outfit change, Rebel said: "In Pitch Perfect, we're called The Bellas, which means beautiful, and we have a whole bunch of different girls in the group who are all different shapes and sizes and nationalities. I think one of the good messages in the movie is that you're all beautiful and that sometimes girls will look at Victoria's Secret models and think they have to model themselves after that, but I really don't think that's the best. Even though they're called models, they're not the best people to model themselves after. I'd like to encourage other girls to think that way, which is why I put [the word "think"] on my butt. It's about what's up here [points to her head] and not what's here [points to her bottom]." Well said Rebel. We still think you’re aca-awesome.
