One of Meghan’s closest celeb friends reveals she’s NOT a royal bridesmaid

One of Meghan Markle's closest friends has ruled out being a bridesmaid for the upcoming royal wedding.

Meghan and Prince Harry are set to tie the knot on 19 May but Priyanka Chopra has revealed that she won't be by Meghan's side for the occasion. The actress hinted that she will attend though, saying she's "super excited about her and her big day." "It’s not just going to be life-changing for both of them, it’s life-changing for the world that needs to see strong women as icons, and I think Meghan has the potential to be that," she told People. "She’s just a really real girl. She’s a girl’s girl. "She’s a really relatable young woman who is concerned about the world just like you and I are. That’s what I love the most about her. "I feel like her authenticity is what’s going to make her really stand out in this new life she’s going to take on." Meghan and Priyanka met a number of years ago at an acting industry event and got on straight away. "You know when you meet someone and you just click?" Meghan previously told Press Trust of India. "It was just an easy, natural progression." As for who else might be in the running to be part of the royal bridal party?
