Florence and Zach are working on a film together.
Little Women star Florence Pugh has addressed her past relationship with Zach Braff.
The couple began dating in 2019, and stayed together until 2022. During the relationship, Florence had to hit back against critics who took issue with the 21-year age gap.
Now, in an interview with Vogue, Florence has said that people just “didn’t like it”.
She went on: “They imagined me with someone younger and someone in blockbusters. I think young relationships in Hollywood are so easily twisted because they add to the gossip sites. It’s exciting to watch. And I think I was in a relationship that didn’t do any of that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, she reminded readers that their relationship wasn’t in “anyone’s faces”.

Braff was also interviewed for the feature, and he praised his former partner’s talent as an actor.
“I quite simply think she’s one of the greatest actors of her generation,” he said. “She’s just magnetic. You cannot take your eyes off of her. And it’s not just her beauty and it’s not just her acting ability, it’s that thing, that magic thing that transcends the screen, where anyone and everyone goes: I want to see whatever this person does.”
Zach is directing Florence in an upcoming film titled A Good Person.
In the past, the actress has spoken about the “abuse” she received for dating Braff.
During their time together, she marked his birthday with a photo on Instagram, but said that she was hit with “abuse” and “bullying” in the comments.
She said: “It makes me upset. It makes me sad that during this time when we really all need to be together, we need to be supporting one another, we need to be loving one another – the world is aching. The world is dying, and a few of you decided to bully for no reason.”
