She was catapulted into the limelight by the Twilight trilogy and her high-profile relationship with Robert Pattinson but Kristin Stewart has revealed that she finds life as a movie star to be “lonely”.

In a new interview with Loaded, the On The Road star said that she is now seen as unapproachable and people are reticent to approach her when she is out.

“Actors become so isolated. It’s like people aren’t allowed to talk to us. Like if you’re a big star, or whatever, if you’re like a famous person, it’s kind of lonely. Like people don’t want to talk to you,” she said.

The actress, who had an affair with director Rupert Sanderson while dating Pattinson, also hit out at those who entered the acting profession solely to achieve fame and fortune.

”You’re just constantly thinking about what other people are thinking about you. I think it’s people who want to be movie stars – and this is such bullshit – but the life really is a huge driving force in so many actors and actresses. Solely. And they won’t be happy at the end, because they’re not doing anything for themselves, everything is for someone else. They’re always appeasing and always satisfying and always trying to do something to stay at this level.”
