Pregnant Lindsay Lohan ‘over the moon’ ahead of due date in Dubai

Lindsay Lohan is said to be ‘over the moon’ at the prospect of becoming a mother for the first time as her due date nears.

According to an insider, Lindsay plans to have her mum and husband by her side as she gives birth in Dubai.

“[Lindsay’s mum] Dina will head to Dubai to be there for the birth,” the source told The Messenger.

The Freaky Friday star announced she was pregnant with her first child over two months ago, confirming the news on Instagram and we couldn’t be happier for her.

She posted a photo of a baby grow that has ‘coming soon’ printed on it said she feels “blessed” to be expecting her first child.

Lindsay wrote, “We are blessed and excited!” alongside the snap.

Lindsay has yet to hint at her due date or her baby’s gender but fans are delighted for her following her joyous announcement.

Director of The Parent Trap, Nancy Meyers wrote: “Lindsay!!!!!! I’m so excited for you!”

Lindsay’s Mean Girls co-star Amanda Seyfriend gushed: “This is WONDERFUL NEWS!!”

“On Wednesdays, we wear maternity clothes,” one fan joked.

One wrote: “Imagine your mother being the woman that gave us mean girls, freaky friday, the parent trap, and confessions of a teenage drama queen… iconic.”

Another also said: “My entire generation is loving this right now. I can guarantee it.”

This is Lindsay’s first child with her husband Bader Shammas.

The parents-to-be also confirmed their special news in a statement to TMZ.

“We are very excited for our new family member to arrive. We are looking forward to this next chapter of our lives!” they added.

The Parent Trap star married financier Bader in July 2022.
