Prince Harry has postponed his trip to Amsterdam as fans of the royal family wait for news about the birth of Baby Sussex.

The 34-year-old was due to fly to the Netherlands next week for a two-day visit over May 8 and May 9.

He was meant to be undertaking an official engagement in Amsterdam, before going to The Hague to mark the one year countdown to the 2020 Invictus Games.

However, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex has now said that his scheduled visit to Amsterdam has been postponed.

They told The Telegraph

“Due to the logistical planning for the travelling press to cover visits and engagements by The Royal Family, we have taken the decision to postpone The Duke of Sussex’s scheduled visit to Amsterdam on Wednesday 8th May 2019 .

“The Duke is currently scheduled to travel to The Hague  on Thursday 9th May  for the launch of the Invictus Games The Hague 2020 as planned.”
