In a recent shoot for magazine Vanity Fair, renowned artist and photographer, Chuck Close, brought 20 of Hollywood’s most famous faces into his studio for a photo shoot with a difference.
Each of the stars were issued with strict guidelines. No make up, fancy hair, or glamorous clothing.
Leading ladies and gents go bare-faced for Chuck, as he captures their portraits behind a polaroid lens, and prints them as they are, totally unedited.
Close chats to the publication about his ability to make his subjects entirely comfortable in front of the camera, even without the help of their glam squads.
