Ronan’s delighted to have him back.

Irish singer Ronan Keating has finally reunited with his son Jack following his stint on Love Island.

The 23-year-old entered the show during Casa Amor week, but didn’t have a strong enough connection with any of the islanders and so was dumped earlier this week.

On Instagram, Roman shared a snap of Jack by the pool and wrote: “Good to have the beast home with his family.”

Jack had previously been welcomed back by his mum Yvonne Connolly via FaceTime on Thursday evening.

In her Instagram stories, she wrote: “I can’t tell you how happy and relieved I was to get a FaceTime call and see this gorgeous face smiling back at me this morning.

“Jack, I am SO proud of you and the gorgeous young man you are.”

During his time in Casa Amor, Jack claimed that he had a bit of a connection with Tasha, but their scenes ended up on the cutting-room floor.

“When I first got in there I started talking to Tasha and we shared a bed the first night,” he said in his exit interview. “It was nice to get to know her but in the end I didn’t feel like there was a spark there.”

He also shared that he got to know Paige quite well.

“She’s a gorgeous girl and getting to know her was amazing. She was one of the nicest girls I’ve ever chatted to. She was so easy to talk to and I felt like I could talk to her about anything.”

When he was dumped from the island, Ekin-Su couldn’t resist making a reference to one of his dad’s most famous songs.
“Life is a rollercoaster,” she said as they hugged goodbye, which appeared to tickle Jack.

Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on Virgin Media Two and on the Virgin Media Player.
