Last year, Ed Sheeran confirmed that he will be playing a string of concerts in Ireland this year.
However, then it was announced that he is rumoured to play at the royal wedding in May – the same date of his Phoenix Park gig.
*Cue the cries of worried fans around the county*
Yes, it was all up in the air – and many thought he would cancel his Dublin gig – but alas, an answer has finally been giving.
According to a rep for the star, Ed WILL perform in Phoenix Park on May 19.
The Irish Times states that Warner Music confirmed “Ed will be on stage at the Dublin location as planned.”
No need to worry, we can all relax now.
Harry and Meghan’s wedding is taking place at 12pm on May 19, so we’d say Ed will probably play at the ceremony and then catch a plane across the pond to Dublin.
