Princess Beatrice is heartbroken following the death of her Norfolk Terrier.

It is believed that he passed away last month following a walk in Windsor Great Park. According to reports, the five-year-old terrier swallowed an unknown substance while out and about.

Orange was brought to the vet after he became ill but unfortunately, doctors couldn’t identify what the pup had eaten and he was too sick to save.

Princess Beatrice is now worried that her puppy, Orange, was deliberately poisoned and fears for her other dogs, Jack, Cici, Terri, and Ginger.

“No one seems to know if the poison was a natural substance like a fungi, or if there is a dog-hating maniac on the loose.

“Obviously Beatrice is keeping a close eye on her other pets,” a friend told The Sun.

And as Beatrice spent New Year’s with her new boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, it is reported that the death of her dog clouded her celebrations while in Kenya. It is also noted that Beatrice and Edo oddly celebrated ringing in a new year at the same spot he proposed to his former girlfriend in 2015.

Beatrice and Edo were joined by family and friends for the celebrations.
