A few months ago, Mumba confirmed that she was off to conquer Hollywood and it seems that she has now followed through on her plans, according to the Daily Mail.

Mumba has apparently revealed to her friends that all her hard work has paid off and she has signed a contract for 1 million dollars to appear in a musical which is promising to be as big as Les Miserables.

A source told the newspaper: "She has got the role and has signed contracts but has been told she has to wait for the film company to make the official announcement. Filming will start later this year for the multi million dollar film."

The 30-year-old relocated to L.A. after her singing career failed in a bid to get into the film industry.
