Several Irish musicians have made the Sunday Times Rich List

U2 are unsurprisingly LOADED.

The Annual Sunday Times’ new Music Millionaires Top 50 list is due to go to print this Sunday, but they’ve released some of the figures today.

It will come as a shock to nobody that these famous faces have amassed an eye-watering sum of money, and there are also several Irish names on the list of those who raked in the most cash over their careers.

U2 are in third place behind Paul McCartney and his wife Nancy Shevell, and esteemed composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Bono and co have an estimated fortune of €605m, which is just staggering. At leas you know they would be good for a lend of a twenty.

The list is measured by taking property, assets and shares into the equation, but it excludes bank accounts meaning all the people present are probably even more wealthy than the figures estimate. Sigh.

Michael Flatley has a net worth of €251m, and Enya is once again Ireland’s wealthiest female performer with an estimated fortune of €115m.

At only 27, Adele is worth €108m and Ed Sheeran has a very nice €57m fortune to fall back on.

Mullingar’s own Niall Horan should be pretty delighted with himself as his joint fortune with the other 1 Direction boys stands at €42m.

Here’s the Top Ten.

Read it and weep.
