Shia LaBeouf Won’t Be Filming Any Raunchy Sex Scenes…Well Unless His Girlfriend Gives Her Blessing…

When it comes to sex, Shia LaBeouf is a bit of a romantic. How do we know? Well the actor has spoken openly about his views on the topic, and has revealed that he isn’t a fan of “doing it for no reason” and, most importantly, that he will only go ahead with the role if his girlfriend gives him her blessing.

Recently Shia stated that he’s absolutely terrified about filming some, ahem, explicit sex scenes for his latest role in Lars von Trier’s raunchy new drama, Nymphomaniac. Shia is reported to be starring alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg and Stellan Skarsgard, but he has revealed that he won’t dive into the project completely until he talks it over with his girlfriend Karolyn Pho.

“There are rules. I have ethics, I’m not completely out of my mind,” said Shia, speaking to USA Today.

“But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with sex. Sex is beautiful if it’s done right. And I wouldn’t just do it for no reason. Sex is different than love, and there is a separation, and that middle gap is what the movie’s about,” he added.

You have to admit, the fact that he’s concerned about what his girlfriend will think is pretty sweet. In fact, Shia has said that he doesn’t court fame and fortune, instead he’s happy with just being himself and spending time with the woman he loves.

Shia is currently promoting his new film Lawless.

“If I could give the money back and get all the credibility in the world that I’m seeking, I would do it tomorrow. In a heartbeat,” he said.
