Small World: The Wanted’s Max George To Hook Up With Reality Star… Despite The Fact Their Exes Are Together

The Wanted’s resident hottie Max George is said to be “desperate” to hook up with TOWIE’s Lucy Mecklenburgh, despite the fact their exes are in a serious relationship together.

Looks like the celebrity pickings are just too small…!

The pair have said to be sending flirty text messages to each other for a few weeks now and are looking forward to Max’s return from the States, The Mirror reports.

And it’s not the first time their paths have crossed…

Max, now 24, was engaged to Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan, 26, in 2011 but they cancelled the wedding before they eventually split up.

Meanwhile, Lucy, 21, had a fling with former TOWIE star Mark Wright, 26, both before and during her relationship with TOWIE’s Mario Falcone, who are now also broken up. Phew.

Max has his eye on Lucy... 

Both their exes Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan are going strong together too. 

A source told the paper, “Max got hold of Lucy’s number and the two of them have been sending flirty messages to each other.

“It’s clear that they both fancy each other and while Max is out of the country at the moment, they are been planning a rendezvous when he returns.

“They’re both young, single and up for a bit of fun, and it doesn’t bother them that their old lovers are now together.”
