Sports Star And Wife Announce The Birth Of Their First Child

Arsenal footballer Theo Walcott and his wife Melanie Slade announced the birth of their first child yesterday.  Theo shared the news via his Facebook account, writing: 'So over the moon to announce the birth of our baby boy Finley born this morning.... It's amazing to be mummy & daddy! Love him so much x' New parents Theo and Melanie revealed their baby news in December of last year, saying at the time: 'We are both very excited at such happy news just a few months after getting married. We are really looking forward to becoming parents.' Theo and Melanie are new parents to a baby boy named Finley The happy couple married in June 2013 choosing Castello di Vincigliata, near Florence in Italy as the location for their wedding celebrations. Proud father Theo, who plays for both Arsenal and England, has been ruled out of the 2014 World Cup, which begins on June 2, due to a ligament injury he suffered in a January game against Tottenham Hotspur. We think he might be kept pretty busy with his role as a new dad...!
