This Swedish influencer just apologised for her ‘dodgy photoshop’ after fans called her out

Sorry, what?

Denise Curtin

Social media influencer, Johanna Emma Olsson, just got publicly called out by fans.

The blogger with over half a million fans recently become the recipient of backlash when fans noticed she superimposed herself onto various backgrounds while on a press trip in Paris.

The 28-year-old was over in the French capital to promote clothing when eagle-eyed fans noticed something was wrong with her images. Quickly spotting that she was “levitating” in one image, fans called the star out for “dodgy photoshop” which forced the Swedish influencer to turn off comments on the image.

But, this isn’t the only one… fans then started to notice photoshop in multiple pictures from the same trip including a brunch and an image taken on a bridge as both seen below.

Realising that the photoshop wasn’t her best work, Emma came clean on her Instagram stories, apologising and admititng the truth to fans.

“So I admit it wasn’t my finest Photoshop skills. Now in Sweden this thing has gone crazy and TV shows want me to come on and talk about my ‘fake travelling’.

“It’s a bit ridiculous I think. There are a lot of influencers out there that Photoshop in birds, rainbows or crazy skies and I could do that but I don’t like that.

“I just wanted to make that clear that I was in Paris, but I did Photoshop the background, but I’m not going to take them down because it’s a collaboration.

“And they’re nice pictures – it’s a good outfit,” the blogger revealed to the Daily Mail.

This then made fans question what else was photoshop on her feed, with many going back and investigating her images.

Another one of Emma’s images came under fire during the summer when she ordered a plate of pasta simply “for this picture” before admitting to giving it to the homeless.

Fans were NOT impressed with this image.

Many called the image “embarrasing” and “not OK”, but like the recent photoshop images, the 28-year-old has left them on her feed and appears to be taking the backlash in her stride.

Each to their own, I suppose.
