Taylor Swift fans convinced she’s engaged after she hinted at a ‘secret’ in her new music video

In case you haven't heard, Taylor Swift dropped a brand new song this morning. The 29-year-old's music video for ME!, which also features Panic at the Disco's Brendan Urie, is a colourful four minutes filled with plenty of Easter eggs about her new album. In the lead up to ME!'s release, Taylor did a YouTube chat with her fans where she told them "there's a secret in the video I've been keeping for months—let's see who can guess it." Fans reckon they have figured out just what her big news is - well, kind of. There's one scene, around the two minute mark, where Taylor is sitting on top of a unicorn-shaped gargoyle that is overlooking a city. Standard kind of day, really. Brendan Urie gives her a bouquet of flowers, which she turns down; then he proposes, which she also turns down. Then he gives her a kitten (which seems to resemble a tiny Grumpy Cat), which she's over the moon about and readily accepts. The moment could mean a lot of things. Or nothing at all - it may not even be the 'secret' she was referring to. But fans are convinced that that's the 'secret' is one of two things: that she's gotten a new cat to join Olivia and Meredith - or that she's engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
