This text message is getting a LOT of attention.

The new series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here is due to start very, very soon and of course, people are now beginning to speculate about who might feature on the 2018 line-up. However, it looks very much like there might be one definite contestant after a leaked text message appeared to confirm that Harry Redknapp will enter the jungle this year. Shared by TV and radio broadcaster Jake Humphrey on Twitter, the message appears to confirm that Harry, father of Jamie Redknapp, will appear on the latest series of the popular reality TV show which kicks off in November.

A few days ago, it was rumoured that Harry would join the line-up alongside Coronation Street actress Sair Khan, who plays Ayla Nazir and The Chase's Anne Hegarty. However, it appears that Harry is the first 'confirmed' contestant and he hasn't denied the reports leading people to believe that the former Tottenham Hotspur is heading down under next month. Chatting on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show this morning, Harry said that he "wasn't allowed to say" if the rumours are true and well, that in itself says a lot.

"I’m not allowed to say! "Anything could happen between now and then. I wouldn’t like to bet one way or the other…".

When asked how he felt about the prospect if Bushtucker trials and the accompanying insects, the 71-year-old said he was trying not to think about it and he might go sleep in the New Forest for a week to prepare. Sounds like we might be seeing him on screens very soon...
