The Baby Countdown Is On! Corrie Couple Reveal Sex Of Baby

Coronation Street favourite Alan Halsall has revealed he is expecting a baby girl with wife Lucy-Jo Hudson.

The couple announced their pregnancy on Lucy-Jo’s Twitter in February and will welcome their baby girl to the world later this year.

The couple are said to be delighted with the prospect of a little girl and Hudson, former star of Wild At Heart and Corrie, said she has “always wanted a baby girl”.

We'd say Hudson is secretly delighted as Halsall, who plays the loveable Tyrone on the Street, told Hello magazine the baby would have been named after a Manchester United player if it was a boy.

The couple are delighted to be expecting a girl. 

Hudson said that she was laid up in bed for days with severe morning sickness and is happy the early weeks of the pregnancy are over.

“I couldn’t get out of bed some days,” she said.
