Speaking to People magazine recently, she said:
"The Queen is allowing the Royal family to modernise. We have come a really long way. They are not stuffy and immovable".The Queen is thought to be eager to make the royal family more relevant and this involves getting rid of age-old rules and traditions that have been in place up to now. The head of the royal family is thought to be a major fan of Meghan and sees her as a "positive person" according to Kate Nicholl, the autobiographer who wrote Harry: Life, Love and Loss.
According to Express.co.uk, Kate said:
"When you look at Meghan on paper she is not necessarily what you might expect of a conventional royal fiancée and that she's American, she's a well-known face. ""Everything from being a divorcée to being a bit older than Prince Harry, to coming from a dual heritage family, you might wonder if the Queen being of a certain generation and, of course, being the Queen might have been at all concerned".However, the 92-year-old has taken to Meghan and it definitely looks like that's the case here. Kate went on to say:
"Everything I heard from the sources I spoke to was that she really felt from the outset that Meghan was a positive person in Prince Harry's life".
