It makes a lot of sense.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child this week.
Ever since the news was revealed by Kensington Palace, many fans have been wondering about the Prince's moniker.
The speculation was the proud parents have chosen the name Arthur for their little boy - but the palace hadn't confirmed anything about the name yet.
As it turns out, there's a very logical (and sweet) reason why.

The reason behind the delay is reportedly due to the fact that Prince Charles had not, as of Thursday, had the chance to meet his newest grandchild.
According to the
Daily Star, Showbiz reporter Dan Wootton said on
Lorraine yesterday that the delay was likely since Prince Charles was in France for an Anzac Day memorial.
It was said that the baby's name would be announced once Charles had a chance to bond with his new grandchild.
Following the speculation about the name, Kensington Palace revealed the Duke and Duchess' choice on Friday morning.

In a statement shared across the palace's official social media channels, they said:
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to announce that they have named their son Louis Arthur Charles.
"The baby will be known as His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge."
