This Painting of a Pregnant Kate Middleton Must be Seen to be Believed

As the world watches for news on Kate Middleton’s new arrival, one rendering of the pregnant Duchess is drawing attention outside the hospital she’s set to give birth in. 

London-based satirical artist Kaya Mar is perched outside the Lido wing of St Mary’s Hospital in the British capital with his latest painting.

The artwork shows the Duchess as the Virgin Mary, wearing blue robes and with a donkey by her side.

The painting also depicts the toddler Prince George.

Speaking to People magazine Mar said he was not poking fun at Kate, but of “the way we all look at her.”
