Breaking news: Johnny Depp is not sleeping with Tim Burton. It’s official. Not that we ever thought the two of them were an item in the first place, but Tim’s missus, Helena Bonham Carter felt that the issue needed to be cleared up. Right so.
TV3.ie reports that Helena has said she doesn’t get jealous of her long-term partner’s close friendship with the actor and that Johnny is a firm favourite of their children.
When asked if she was jealous about the pair’s BFF status, Helena bluntly responded: “No, because Tim is not having sex with Johnny! No, I rejoice in the friendship! Johnny is a marvellous man and a wonderful friend.”
“He is also godfather to our son Billy, and they have a wonderful relationship because Johnny is a dad himself. In Billy’s eyes, Uncle Johnny can do no wrong,” Helena added.

While she doesn’t feel jealous about the friendship, Helena did admit that she struggles to understand Johnny’s American humour and often feels like a third wheel.
“I don’t actually understand what Johnny and Tim joke about. Culturally, they have had the same childhood and I haven’t, so I don’t get a lot of the same telly references. They try and explain what the joke is and I just go, ‘huh?’” said Helena.
The actress revealed that herself and Johnny became firm friends after they bonded over their mutual hatred of seeing themselves on screen.
“I can never ever watch anything I’m in. I can’t stand it. Neither can Johnny. And if it’s all right for Johnny Depp to boycott his own films, I’m damned sure that it is totally okay for me,” she said.

So there you have it ladies, Johnny Depp isn’t romantically involved with Tim Burton. Although if rumours are to be believed, he is currently stepping out with Amber Heard and he even named a beach on his private island after her!
According to reports, Johnny presented Amber with her own beach as a Christmas gift. The actor is said to have named the beach ‘Amber’s Cove’ after noticing it looked like her hip when viewed on a map.
