Truck Driver Charged In Connection To Fatal Crash That Critically Injured 30 Rock Actor Tracy Morgan

The driver of the truck that caused the pile-up which left Tracy Morgan in intensive care and killed his friend James McNair has been charged with death by auto. Middlesex County prosecutors said 35-year-old Kevin Roper, of Jonesboro, Georgia, also faces four counts of "assault by auto", according to Sky News. Saturday Night Live star Tracy is currently in intensive care at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Centre in New Brunswick, New Jersey. New Jersey State Police Sergeant Gregory Williams said Roper apparently failed to notice slow traffic ahead of his truck and swerved at the last minute to avoid a crash.

"He observed at the last minute - just prior to impact - the limo bus carrying Morgan and his party", said Williams, according to ABC News.
