Una Healy says she wants to stay friends with her ‘cheating’ ex, Ben Foden

Una Healy has told how she wants to make amends with her ex, Ben Foden.

The pair had been married for six years before they split in July this year – just days before they were due to move to the United States with their two kids.

The news of the split came amid allegations that the rugby player had cheated on Una.

However, the former The Saturdays singer has now told how she would like to be able to be friends with her ex – at least one day.

Speaking to Closer magazine [via The Sun], she said:

“I want to stay friends with Ben. He’s the father of my children and he’s in my life forever, so hopefully one day we can be friends.”

The couple have two children together: Aoife Belle, six; and three-year-old Tadhg.

The mum previously told how “time is a healer” in an interview shortly after the split announcement.

She told  Hello Magazine:

“My life has been turned upside down and I’m trying to figure it out I’m taking each day as it comes and just being there for my children

“Life is tough but you’ve got to keep a positive attitude. Time is a healer as well.

“Someone told me ‘Don’t look back, you’re not going that way’ and those words inspire me, as does the famous quote of Winston Churchill.

“If you’re going through hell, keep going.”
