It's very rare that music videos are about more than bare skin and "partying until the sun comes up."
Thomas Brodie-Sangster has been in other movies like Nowhere Boy, Nanny McPhee, Love Actually, and more recently in Game of Thronesas Jojen Reed.
The U.K. rock band The Luka State's asked the actor to star in their music video for new single "30 Minute Break" as a victim of domestic abuse.
"I really liked the fact that the script shines a light on a very real problem. Domestic violence is never spoken about, but female-on-male aggression is practically invisible. Nobody, male or female, should have to be scared in their own home," Brodie-Sangster tells THR.
The Luka State frontman Conrad Ellis described the video as a story about "the things you do in the name of love that don't always seem to make sense."
We're not too sure about the ending, but this video is definitely making a statement.
