“Cupid’s work here is done…”
Fans of Love Island star, and national treasure, for that matter, Maura Higgins are convinced that she is in a new relationship.
Speculation of a new romance began to brew after she posted a series of snaps from her Parisian holiday on Instagram.
The Longford lass has been soaking up the sights and sounds of the French capital, and, with a cryptic caption, she has teased that there could be a new man in her life.
Accompanying snaps of the Eiffel Tower and some fine dining experiences, Maura wrote: “Fight for your fairytale.”
Speculation grew further after her friend commented: “I can’t look at these photos without smiling x p.s… cupid’s work here is done.”
Her fellow Love Island alum Molly-Mae also hinted at there being something we’re not privy to as she wrote: “No stop cos my heart.”

Indeed, Maura’s meal photos show that she has been dining with a guest, however she never reveals who they are.
Last October, Maura and Strictly Come Dancing’s Giovanni Pernice announced that they had broken up after several months of dating.
In a statement shared on social media at the time, Giovanni wrote: “There was absolutely no wrongdoing and this should be the end of any speculation.
“Whilst I respect and understand interest in my personal life, wouldn’t it be fantastic to instead use this space to raise awareness of subject and issues which need the attention.
“My eyes have been opened to so many things during my career.
“But I am learning so much from this series of Strictly. The show has highlighted many important conversations for different communities and increased representation.
“These are the conversations which deserve the time, energy and recognition. We must concentrate on what’s important and how we can all make a difference in life.”
