Celine Dion returned to her Las Vegas residency and during her first performance she paid tribute to her late husband René Angelil.
During her first performance since his death, she opened the show with a quote on screen followed by a photo montage of her late husband.
The first quote read:
"I understood that my career was in a way his masterpiece, his song, his symphony. The idea of leaving it unfinished would have hurt him terribly. I realised that if he ever left us, I would have to continue without him, for him."
She followed the pictures with the song With One More Look At You/Watch Closely Now, which received a standing ovation from the audience.
