At last night’s Met Gala, we saw magic happen when Blake Lively stepped out onto the red carpet, but fans weren’t the only ones left in complete awe by her look.
Alongside his wife, Blake and Ryan Reynolds were co-chairs of the big event and two of the first to walk up the iconic steps.
It was as Blake walked up the steps that she decided to unveil her true Met Gala dress after having only really shown us half of it.
Morphing into a whole new dress, Blake’s Atelier Versace gown had all eyes on her, and Ryan was front and centre when it came to being completely amazed by the reveal.
Blake’s gown changed as she undid the bow to show the world an aqua blue colour train alongside the copper details already in the dress, representing the copper patina we see on buildings in New York.

She said the dress was inspired by the city and the iconic architecture that began to appear throughout the late 1800s.
She told The Cut: “Instead of looking to fashion to influence the dress, I looked to New York City architecture and classic buildings.”
Fans couldn’t get over Ryan’s reaction to his wife’s dress, with many taking to Twitter to talk about his adorable reaction.
