Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband Matthew Broderick have put their New York townhouse up for sale, which leaves us to think that the fashionista really could be leaving her beloved Big Apple.

The actress, who played proud New Yorker Carrie Bradshaw in the hit HBO series Sex and the City is looking for a cool $25 million (€19 million) for the newly renovated home.

The plush pad is located off Fifth Avenue in Greenwich Village and boasts a spacious kitchen, seven fireplaces and a master suite that takes up the whole fourth floor.

The couple and their children, James Wilkie,10, Tabitha Hodge, three, and Marion Loretta Elwell, three, only moved into the home in 2011.

Sarah and her family spend their summers in Kilcar, County Donegal and the recent sale of the town house has us hoping that the A-listers descend on Ireland for good!
