Twitter is alight with fans reaching out and offering their condolences to Louis Tomlinson after the tragic passing of his mother.
A statement released today from Johannah’s husband Dan read:
“It is with immeasurable sadness that Johannah Deakin’s family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of Wednesday 7th December 2016.”
“Earlier this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of leukaemia that required immediate and continuous treatment.”
On hearing the news, many celebrities, including Cheryl have reached out and offered their support.
@Louis_Tomlinson my heart breaks for you. I am so sorry. My thoughts are with you and your loved ones at this incredibly tragic time.

Surprisingly, so did ex-bandmate Zayn.
@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x

The tweet is surprising considering Zayn and Louis have publicly feuded since Zayn’s departure from the band. Many fans on Twitter are praising Zayn for the tweet but at such a personal time we’re inclined to find it a bit jarring.
Louis is due to make his debut performance at The X Factor final on Saturday night and it is said that he will go ahead with it in tribute to his late mother.
Johannah who was due to turn 43 today passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
As well as Louis she had six other children, Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, both 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, aged two.
