Aidan Connor leaves Underworld to a surprising owner on Coronation Street

The discovery of Aidan Connor's will is set to throw up a huge shock for his family as they find out who he left Underworld to.

Michelle and Carla take on the task of sorting through Aidan's belongings to try and save his father, Johnny, the pain. During that time, they find his will - and discover whom Aidan left the Underworld knicker factory to. According to The Sun, it will be found out that Aidan willed the factory to his business partner, Ayla Nazir. The Connor family are then left with a legal battle on their hands, as they try and fight for what they think Aidan would have wanted to be theirs.   A source told the publication:

“In the fallout from the emotional storyline Aidan’s will shows that he’s left Underworld to Alya. "It's a shock as everyone was expecting it to be left to his own family. “It’s an unintentional snub to the Connors, as he made the will months earlier when he thought about taking his own life."

Coronation Street fans were heartbroken this week as Shayne Ward - the actor who played Aidan - exited the soap. In devastating scenes on Monday, Aidan was seen staring into the distance as he sat at The Rover's Return, surrounded by Johnny, Carla, Jenny and Maria. The scene moved to his flat, where Aidan was seen breaking down as he sat on the sofa alone. The powerful scene ended without showing Aidan's death.
