Angelina Jolie is officially filming Maleficent 2 and we have the pics to prove it!

The excitement is real.

Yesterday, filming for Maleficent 2, the sequel to the first dark fairytale began and we couldn't be anymore excited. Sharing an image on Instagram to mark the start of the next project, Elle Fanning posed with Angelina Jolie at the back of the set as they messed around in between takes. Angelina Jolie can be clearly seen in her elaborate curly horns as Elle captioned the pic:

"It's bring your mom to work day on the #Maleficent2 set!!!!!"

Deadline also confirmed yesterday that Chiwetel Ejiofor and Robert Lindsay will be joining the cast, Michelle Pfeiffer will be playing Queen Ingrith and Harris Dickinson will be portraying Prince Phillip. This is the first time Elle Fanning has ever done a movie sequel as she steps back into Princess Aurora's shoes after four years since the first flick. And so far it looks to be like the cast are having a blast on set as Elle also shared this image of Ange photobombing her with those signature horns. All we can say is bring on the sequel.
