We can’t WAIT for this.

If you know your Hippogriffs from your Nifflers, we’ve got some good news: Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is going to be on telly next week.

The second instalment in the series about Magigzoologist Newt Scamander will be on Sky Cinema and streaming service NOW TV as of August 16.

The movie follows the bumbling Hogwarts alumni as he faces his greatest danger when powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald escapes custody and attempts an uprising of pure-blood wizards over non-magical beings.

Newt is called upon by Albus Dumbledore to help thwart this growing evil, but in an increasingly divided wizarding world, even his closest friends have their loyalty tested.

Filming on the third Fantastic Beasts movie is expected to begin next year, with it expected to hit screens in November 2021.

Speaking about the third film, Warner Bros’ Theatrical Distribution president Ron Sanders said:

“JK Rowling created an awe-inspiring universe that has captivated people of all ages, taking us on an extraordinary magical journey.”

“Warner Bros. is so proud to be the cinematic home of the Wizarding World and is excited about the future of the Fantastic Beasts franchise. We look forward to bringing the third chapter of the five-film series to audiences around the globe in November 2021.”
