A documentary on Working Dogs and all their extraordinary abilities will air next week

Olivia Hayes

Too good for this world.

Dogs are probably one of the best creations to be put on this Earth. Many of us have pet doggos that have become our mates; they’re cute and cuddly and always there when you need them.

However, a special shout out has to go to Working Dogs, who have amazing abilities to help those in need.

A documentary surrounding Working Dogs and their extraordinary lives is airing on TG4 next week; so this is your reminder to tune in.

Saol an Mhadra Bháin will tell the stories of men, women and children whose lives are dramatically changed and improved by their newly established partnerships with Working Dogs.

It will also give us a bit of insight into how our furry friends are helping doctors and scientists find breakthrough medical solutions to worldwide health problems.

The two-part series, which will be a bilingual documentary, blends science and human compassion to show just how amazing dogs really are. We’re going to learn about the special relationship between dog and owner, and how that bond enhances and empowers the lives of people with disabilities and life-debilitating illnesses.

We can already feel tears coming on.

The first part of the series will air next Wednesday, November 27 at 9.30pm, with the follow-up airing at the same time on December 4.
